Windows OS, and managing a project team to develop web based applications on
the intranet including the development of an intranet portal. In this position, I provide team management

I was involved with
sales force automation (SFA) architecture and remote systems management
including system setup, architecture, design and operation of a RemoteWare
cluster used to distribute all data, remote systems management, and software to
a large group of field representatives using remote communications. My primary responsibility includes the
complete system administration and operation of this system for any data that
would be distributed to the field via remote access. These responsibilities include creating accounts, deployment,
installation, creating application work objects to distribute data to remote
computers, grouping of clients for scheduled work, flowcharting and documenting
specifications, capturing and reporting metrics, subscription services of web
and other company data, webmaster for the field Intranet site, testing and
validation of the data flow, and the creation of a desktop application for easy
remote access for the user. I also
developed applications using Microsoft Visual Basic and developed web applications
using Java servlet technology, HTML, ASP, and JSP, javascript, vbscript, and
performed internal database modeling as it applied to our projects.

Services - USHH Merck & Co, Inc. Sr. Systems Analyst July 1997 to October 1998
Primary
responsibility included support to remote sales representatives with the
acquisition, testing, and deployment of laptop and desktop machines running
Windows 95 to the field. This involved
a complete upgrade and migration of over 4,000 field computers running Windows
for Workgroups to Windows 95 in a batch mode timeframe. It also included maintenance and testing of
the 95 model used in the field, providing support to Helpline operations, QA
testing new software for deployment, and creating self-installation programs
for field based personnel. Developed
automated upgrade/installation programs for non-user interactive using Install
Shield, Winbatch, and other monitoring installation packages. Developed programs using Visual Basic for
use in the field and for use with in the department.
Software Engineering
and PC Support (Home) 1991 to 1996 Part Time
Programmed, marketed
and distributed my own application programs (shareware) worldwide which
included the complete user documentation and customer support for all
products. Primary duties included:
Operating and administering a complete multi-line on-line service with 4 mail
networks networked worldwide including an access to the internet. This involved complete setup of hardware and
software, creation of accounts, security levels, bulletins, help files, file
directories, addition of files from CD-ROM to the files database, automated
batch files using an event driven front-end mailer. The online service had over 90,000 files and over 1,000
worldwide users prior to the internet popularity. My primary programming languages were Turbo C++ and a variation
of the basic language called wcCode from 1991 to 1996. I hold 5 registered copyrights for my
software. I was a beta tester for
Mustang Software Inc from 1994-96 including the interactive net server for use
by ISPs. It includes dynamic HTML,
client/server based applications, FTP, ODBC, and TELNET support, and includes
an intranet solution for small companies.

the Research Laboratories in MRL while completing my degree program. While in MRL, I developed 2 application
programs used on the Vax to print off the a 200 page stockroom catalog
containing Lab supplies. I was also a
trainer for Total Quality Management for the department and attended TQA
training. Worked various jobs in
research division.

Manager and Quality Assurance Engineering 1980 to 1987.
Held positions of
increasing responsibilities in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality
Engineering under MIL-STD-9858a Quality Systems Requirements. Aydin
manufactures turn-key computerized graphic & control systems. My primary responsibilities included the
complete setup, supervision, and management of the QC department of 6 to 15
inspection personnel and to provide QA Engineering support. This included writing SOPs, detailed work
instructions, PO Review, vendor surveillance, calibration control of tools and
instruments, contractual requirements review, inspection and testing of Aydin
products, and writing Acceptance Testing Procedures for the division. I was the customer and government liaison
for the company and understood the business from receiving to shipping. I performed hiring, interviewing, biannual
reviews, departmental budgets and reported to the director, Quality Assurance
and the Vice President of the division.
I also developed application programs over 2 years that included several
acceptance test programs in Fortran 77 for the Aydin Graphical Display
generator products and developed some sales demos.
